Let’s get started!
    1. Consist
Consist is used to describe what something is β€˜made of’. We don’t use them in continuous forms. We only use the active form of consist of :
i.e. Their diet only consisted of fruit and seeds.
i.e. The whole group consists of students.
    2. Comprise
Comprise is used to describe what something is β€˜made ofβ€™οΌŒbut is more formal than consist. We can also use it in the passive voice in the form β€˜be comprised of’:
i.e. The course is comprised of ten lectures and five seminars on the theory of economics and banking.
i.e. Oil and coal comprise 70% of the nation’s exports.
