Able Vs. Possible

In today’s lesson, we are going to learn in-depth details about the difference between “Able ” and “possible”. Let’s get started!
    1. Able (can do)
We use able (adj) when we have the necessary physical strength, mental power, time, skill, money, or opportunity to do something:
For examples:
    1. I’ve never been able to do crosswords.
    2. Will you be able to carry all the shopping back home on your bike?
    3. He was able to lead a normal life, despite the illness.
Note* (Human subject + be able to)

(It+possible)

    2. Possible (can achieve)

We use possible (adj) when we something is able to be done or achieved, or able to exist:
For examples:
    1. I have tried to keep my transition as faithful as possible to the original book.
    2. Rescuers are doing everything that is humanly possible to free the trapped people.
    3. With today’s technology almost anything seems possible.
